Growing up in England as the eldest of seven children, Michèle developed a drive at a young age to make a difference through voluntary work and helping others less fortunate than herself, particularly those suffering serious illness.
Over the years living in different countries Michèle herself experienced serious ongoing health issues and discovered the power of natural medicine to treat and overcome her ailments. This personal experience led to a passion to study and work in the field of health.
Michèle has a Bachelor of Health Science degree in Naturopathy, and a Diploma in Nutrition and Herbal Medicine. She is qualified as a Registered Nurse, Colonic hydrotherapist, Ericksonian Hypnotherapist, Neuro Linguistic, Programming practitioner and Aromatherapist. Michèle uses all of her skills – such as herbal medicine, nutrition, aromatherapy oils, massage, colonics, diet and hypnosis – to enhance digestive health.
Bringing together her studies in western and natural medicine, she treats a wide range of issues, treating each person as an individual. Michèle enjoys seeing people reach their health goals and educates people on how to live long, healthy and productive lives.
She pioneered Closed Colonics when she came to Australia from London in 1992. She also founded the Indian and Oriental Head Massage Institute and trains people to teach and perform this unique massage. She is the founder and owner of Ultimate Detox Solutions, a leading clinic using a variety of specialist treatments to take people to optimal health. Michèle is also a certified Hypnobirthing Practitioner, running classes for pregnant mothers who want to birth in an easy and comfortable way.
She is an expert in digestive problems and detoxifying the body naturally, for peak energy, wellness and preventing disease. Her expertise in Food as Medicine for optimal performance is often sought after by businesses, sports clubs and organisations, as well as individuals.
For over 20 years Michèle’s expertise has been in high demand. She has lectured around the world for universities and private companies, spoken on radio and had articles published in magazines and newspapers. She has also organised international health related conferences.
Michèle applies her passion for Food as Medicine to her own life. She has seen first-hand both the extraordinary positive and negative impacts of diet. She is passionate about changing the way communities eat and think about food, which will lead to positive change in the food industry.

A keen artist, Michèle also enjoys cooking healthy food, the outdoors and hiking. She has visited and lived in many countries around the world, travelling both for business and pleasure.
